The First Nations Elder Lodge was proposed for a Central Saskatchewan First Nations Band. The program was to provide housing for elders of the community that would be fitting to their honoured status in the community. The design incorporated a six independent two bedroom units that were connected by an enclosed corridor to a central meeting space. The design took inspiration from sacred symbolism of the eagles wings which the units would be sheltered under. The building also reflects its context tying into traditional western forms of the cabin.
